Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects. This individual will lead on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards from preconstruction through project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain schedules and quality expectations
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA and company standards)
• Track daily progress, manage schedules, and report to the Project Manager
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to review progress and resolve issues
• Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven ability to manage ground-up projects and complex construction schedules
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, safety standards, and construction methods
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus
