Project Manager – Data Center Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale data center construction projects with a strong emphasis on high-voltage systems (up to 125MW) . This role requires a leader who excels in managing complex builds, coordinating with General Contractors (GCs) , and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget .

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee data center construction from initial planning and design through execution, completion, and commissioning.
• Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring project requirements are met efficiently.
• High-Voltage Systems Oversight: Supervise the installation and integration of high-voltage electrical systems with cooling and HVAC infrastructure .
• Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Work closely with General Contractors (GCs) to align project execution with quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
• Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify risks, manage changes effectively, and keep the project on track.
• On-Site Leadership: Manage all aspects of the project on-site, ensuring smooth operations and addressing challenges in real time.
• Communication & Reporting: Provide regular updates, conduct meetings, and ensure transparent reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience managing large-scale data center construction projects , with a focus on high-voltage electrical systems .
• Deep understanding of 125MW data center infrastructure/Mission critical , including electrical, HVAC, and cooling systems.
• Proven success in both Owner’s Representative and General Contractor (GC) management roles.
• Expertise in managing project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation .
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to manage and direct GCs on-site, ensuring strict compliance with project plans and execution.
• Experience with light and heavy demolition processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing multi-site data center projects .
• Proficiency in project management tools and software .
