Yes, that's a big salary range but these guidelines should help:
- To target 130k, you must have 5+ years experience at one company and experience bidding highways, sewer systems, utilities, airports, and flood mitigation.
- To target 200k, you need to have the years of experience (most likely 10+) and project experience to back that up (design build projects, bridge experience, projects $20-30M+)

Key Responsibilities - Analyze construction drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis for materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals for construction projects.
Required Qualifications - 5+ years civil estimating experience
- Experience with highways, bridges, sewer systems, utilities, airports, flood mitigation, or other civil projects
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Excavation, helical piles, demolition, or sheeting experience a plus
- Procore, HeavyBid, or similar
