Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented 811 Locate Ticket Screener to support safe excavation and construction by reviewing and managing utility locate requests. In this hybrid role, you will assess 811 tickets , verify accuracy, determine priority, and route them appropriately using GIS tools and asset databases. You'll collaborate with contractors, utility locators, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and screen 811 tickets for accuracy and relevance
- Cross-reference ticket locations with GIS systems
- Route tickets to appropriate teams and track resolution
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify and resolve issues
- High school diploma required; technical training in GIS/utilities preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in utility locating, construction, or telecom
- Familiarity with 811 systems and underground utility infrastructure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, GIS tools, and ticketing systems
