Job Description

Our client, a leading self-perform and general contracting firm, seeks a skilled Project Manager / Estimator to oversee masonry projects from bid to completion. This role combines technical estimating expertise with strong project management and client relations skills to ensure successful, profitable outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture across all projects.
  • Estimate masonry scopes, labor, materials, and budgets with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, bids, and project documentation.
  • Review plans and specs, identify risks, and clarify scope as needed.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and forecasts to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, vendors, and trade partners.
  • Solicit bids, analyze proposals, and secure adequate trade coverage.
  • Conduct site visits to assess constructability, progress, and cost efficiencies.
  • Participate in bid-day coordination, buyout, and repricing efforts.
  • Maintain organized bid tracking and stay proficient in software such as Bluebeam, Trimble, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of masonry estimating experience; field experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in construction estimating and project management software.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, means, and methods.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical site activities as required.
  • Flexible schedule with occasional travel, evenings, or weekends as needed.
