Communications Specialists Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage communication strategies tailored to each client’s needs
  • Craft and edit materials such as press releases, blog posts, website copy, social media content and more
  • Collaborate with clients to create targeted campaigns and ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers and key stakeholders
  • Monitor the effectiveness of communications strategies and adjust as necessary to achieve optimal results
  • Organize and support events, both virtual and in-person, ensuring smooth execution and clear messaging
  • Provide guidance on crisis communications, when necessary
Communications Specialists Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in communications, PR, content creation, or a related discipline (specific experience may vary depending on the role)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with communications tools, social media platforms and content management systems
  • A proactive, creative and adaptable attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
