About the role
As a Cloud Infra Engineer III with Insight , you will utilize your deep knowledge of Azure, VMware, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) platforms to deliver strategic consulting services. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and optimizing hybrid cloud environments, while providing expert guidance on backup tools and disaster recovery solutions.

As a Cloud Infra Engineer III, you will get to:

  • Engage with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Provide strategic consulting on cloud migration, optimization, and best practices.
  • Manage and administer the hybrid cloud environment, including, provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and architectures.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
  • Deep understanding on Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well Architecture Framework (WAF)
  • Skilled with Microsoft Entra ID Connect, Azure AD DS, and related technologies.
  • Implementation and management of Public and internal DNS server.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, and PowerShell and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure networking, Entra ID, AVD, SQL PaaS, Azure File share etc.
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions using Azure native solution.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cloud services, features, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, SQL PaaS, and security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and practices.
  • Designing and implementing IAM policies to ensure secure and efficient user access management.
  • Experience in deployment and configuration of VEEAM/NetApp is a plus.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for VMware environments, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues within the VMware infrastructure.
  • Strong general Linux administration skills including Shell scripting

We are looking for a Cloud Infra Engineer III with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud engineering and consulting, with a strong focus on Azure, VMware, and HCI platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in backup tools and disaster recovery planning.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Design Expert, Nutanix) are highly desirable
