Position requires individual to drive various types of fleet trucks from tractor trailer (Peter Built), Volumetric Mixing trucks (HAZMAT), to regular standard fleet trucks (2500,3500 GMC Diesel and Gas) flatbed and mini dump trucks, towing tool trailers, heavy equipment, materials and tools. Required to help in assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks, following DOT regulations and guidelines, making sure your loads are strap down properly as well as keeping trucks clean and organized. Individual must be able to work on out of town projects, night work and occasional weekend work. Individual will be apart of a paving operation and will be required to back the Volumetric Mixing trucks up to a paver and take direction from operator on the back of the truck from the rear view mirrors. When individual is not driving for a project he/she will be at the yard/shop assisting mechanics in cleaning and organization of the shop and yard, loading and unloading material, taking dump trucks to dump sites as well as assisting in servicing the trucks if applicable.
