Role: Civil Project Engineer

Location: New York

A leading heavy civil construction firm based in New York is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Project Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects involving site development, highways, bridges, underground utilities, and transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil construction projects
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and procurement
• Prepare, track, and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily field reports
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date
• Maintain close communication with clients, engineers, and site personnel to ensure project alignment
• Uphold company safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, or public works construction
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
