Job Description

Gameto is looking for a hard-working, energetic, and motivated Chief of Staff to support CEO Dr. Dina Radenkovic across corporate and administrative functions and manage our Austin headquarters. Corporate responsibilities will include supporting business development, investor relations, marketing, and corporate communications to ensure the CEO's office runs smoothly and reaches all goals. The role is in person at Gameto’s headquarters in Austin, Texas. Occasional travel to NYC and where needed.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Corporate Support of the CEO (e.g., Business Development, Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, etc.)

• Support Heads of Business Development & Investor Relations to schedule and prepare for board meetings, generate and manage investor materials and communications, support fundraising efforts, and prepare data rooms and transaction materials.
• Work on company presentations, decks, and conference materials, including financial projections, product brochures, and pipeline expansion.
• Organize company events, promotional activities, board dinners, company off-sites, and team-building events. 
• Work with the media/marketing team on social media, website, and corporate communications. 
• Must have a deep understanding of the company's financing, products, development, priorities, and future goals.

Administrative

• Manage the CEO’s calendar, including the work of an executive assistant, such as scheduling some personal items like doctor appointments, organizing childcare for work events, coordinating conference travel, etc.
• Create meeting agendas, materials, talking points, and presentations, and distribute these materials beforehand.
• Help with expense tracking & documentation.

Office Management 

• Manage and stock up the Austin headquarters 1-2 times weekly to ensure the office is ready and all supplies are in order. 

Team Management 

• Work with the CEO to communicate with the rest of the team, conduct 360 reviews, and track and test employee engagement, motivation, and progress. 
• Organize team-building activities, including an annual company off-site, 

Everything else: 

• No task is too small or too big, from getting coffee to key strategic meetings and top conferences. We play to win. The role involves work across time zones, so occasional weekend or evening work is required. This is a broad role with a lot of exposure and opportunities to progress. 

The role is in person in Austin, Texas. Must be available to start full-time by mid-June. 

Salary: $120–$135k, depending on experience, & stock options. 

Desired Qualifications:

• Extremely strong work ethic: continuous performance in high-stress, fast-paced conditions
• Ability to work independently, autonomously, and to learn quickly 
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Experience: 1-3 years of work experience preferred; prior experience in consulting, financial services, or in a prior CoS role will be considered favorably
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly in an entrepreneurial environment
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in scheduling, analysis, and coordinating across many company functions
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities
• Location: Located in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate
