Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Health care systems, medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished “Certified Pharmacy Technician”

** LOCATION: Onsite Role | Client Location: 970 Riverside Parkway West Sacramento CA 95605

** DURATION: 5-month assignment with the possibility of extension

** WORK SCHEDULE:

Initial Shift: Monday – Friday | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

After 4 Weeks: Schedule may change based on business needs to Sunday – Thursday

• Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday–Thursday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Flexibility required for occasional overtime or weekends as needed

Pay Rate: $26.00/hr. (depending upon experience)

Job Summary:

Client is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our high-volume automated fulfillment center. The ideal candidate will accurately and efficiently process prescription requests, support inventory accuracy, and maintain compliance with all pharmacy and quality standards. This is a fast-paced, production-based environment requiring attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Fill, package, and distribute prescription medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.
• Replenish automated dispensing cells and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure quality assurance.
• Prepare cold-chain and specialty prescriptions with required handling procedures.
• Assist with packing and shipping while maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Identify and escalate operational or quality issues promptly to management.

Job Requirements:

• Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active California Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (excluding externships/training)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy or production setting preferred.
