What you’ll do:

  • Book loads/cover freight with carriers (including carrier vetting and negotiation) for the assigned customers sales team by various methods including inbound and outbound phone calls, posting loads to freight boards, etc.
  • Build carrier relationships to establish carrier capacity that supports customer service and profitability 
  • Manage loads from dispatch to delivery and provide needed updates to customer sales team per company procedure
  • Resolve issues with carriers/loads as they arise and communicate them to the customer sales team and outside stakeholders if necessary.

What you need:

  • 1 -3 years 3PL Sale or Operations Experience preferred 
  • Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office
  • Must be willing to work outside of the 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri business hours when the job requires it
  • Build and maintain relationships with people over the phone
  • Must be organized and excel at multitasking
  • Prior experience welcome but not required -- we provide training from the ground up!
