Job Description

We are seeking woodworking and cabinet making candidates for an excellent opportunity we currently have open- We are seeking candidates who have experience in millwork, casework, custom woodwork construction, fine furniture construction, or architectural wood products assembly. We are looking for someone who is proficient at reading and working from architectural drawings and shop drawings accurately.

Backgrounds can be assembly of a wide variety of custom fixtures, casework, commercial cabinetry and millwork- requiring the ability to read, comprehend and apply blueprint and 3-D modeling and basic math skills as well as the ability to use common hand tools and operate woodworking machines.

Candidates with the following experience will be able to hit the ground running with little to no training and can qualify for the highest starting pay rates:

- Create and organize cut lists for specific jobs to determine layouts, correct construction methods, materials, and parts.
- Perform woodworking tasks such as, but not limited to, milling/shaping lumber, panel processing, ripping, crosscutting, sanding, all equipment/machinery functions, case construction, laminating, solid woodwork, door construction, veneer work, veneer matching, gluing, and pressing on both interior and exterior millwork.
- Use assembly machinery - chain and chisel mortising, sliding table saw, frame clamp, table saw, chop saws, and band saw after proper instruction has been established.
- Understand curved work thoroughly, including proper joinery.
- Have a complete and thorough understanding of shaper set-up and running both straight and radius items.
- Create fine traditional joineries such as mortise and tenon, lock miter, dovetail, and French miter, as well as more conventional joinery using dowels, pocket screws, and vacuum press bags.
- Hardware installation and reassembling of finished products.

Salary: $ 25.00 37.00 Per Hour
