Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the technical services business unit, with full accountability for P&L performance.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth across the business unit.
  • Oversee the performance, development, and team structure to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings and improve overall delivery to customers.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within technical services to expand market reach.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, regulatory, and quality standards to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership in the execution of projects and problem-solving activities.
  • Travel as required to customer sites, team locations, and company facilities to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in alignment technologies (e.g., laser, optical, mechanical) and a variety of NDT techniques (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, VT).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (required); MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical services, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in managing P&L and budgets effectively.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support business operations and customer needs.
  • Relevant certifications such as ASNT Level III, API 510/570/653, or similar certifications are highly preferred.
