Job Description

Dynamic Protection Group, Inc. is seeking a experienced security professional to lead our business development and operational team in the Boston, Massachusetts market. $85,000 base salary plus commissions plus full-time benefits. A successful candidate will maintain and build an armed security business throughout this territory, interfacing with existing clients while building a pipeline of new opportunities with corporate, government and educational prospects who utilize armed and unarmed security services.

Position Summary:

The Massachusetts Branch Manager will lead a business segment in a designated region. The primary role of the Branch Manager is to enhance client experiences, build long-term meaningful client relationships and engage with employees that deliver our services in the field. The individual will meet or exceed operational goals by providing high-quality, professional, competent and committed service and outstanding client and employee experience.

The Branch will be responsible for business development, sales, client relations, client retention as well as the oversight of all Branch Office security operations. The Branch Manager is to identify and develop new business opportunities through utilization of existing industry contacts, networking, market research, participation in local/regional trade and professional organizations, as well as by working with DPG’s management team to identify potential business leads.

Essential Job Duties:

· Manage Branch Office operational budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet financial targets. Monitor expenses, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-saving initiatives as needed.

· Set the direction, tone, and client-specific plan for achieving agreed-upon service levels and meeting actionable expectations for delivering measurable results

· Focus on hiring, development, and retention of security professionals and supervisory staff

· Responsible for overseeing remote managed business

· Communicate high service level expectations consistently to the team to ensure client and employee satisfaction and retention

· Engage regularly with clients to share his/her expertise to enhance the value of DPG is offering

· Coordinate the day-to-day team effort to ensure that services are delivered in a quality and cost-effective manner

· Work with assigned personnel to ensure that all contractually scheduled hours are met with a minimum of unbilled overtime

· Coach, counsel, and develop assigned personnel to assist with their opportunity for advancement/promotability

· Ensure that all employee licenses and training are up to date and ensure that employees with expired licenses/certifications/training are not in the working schedule and that the employee does not return to duty until all documents are brought up to date

Additional Responsibilities:

· Enforce Dynamic Protection Group Inc’s processes, procedures and policies

· Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement

· Act as liaison between DPG and the customer to foster customer intimacy, including travel to/from face-to-face meetings

· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

· Prepare all weekly summary reports required for the operation, including but not limited to post incident reports and daily total guard hours.

· Maintain all post orders in a central file and ensure posts have always copies of these orders.

· Conduct specialized security training required customers.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be able to articulate area security issues. He/she will have a demonstrated understanding of physical security strategies, policies, principles, procedures, and standards. Further, the successful candidate will have the ability to think critically through the intricacies of complex situations. Proven supervisory and staff management skills

Certificates, Licenses, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of relevant work experience in private/corporate security operations, with at least five years of experience in managerial capacity
  • Former Law Enforcement
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) preferred
  • Authorized by the state of Massachusetts to carry a concealed firearm
  • Valid and active Massachusetts Armed Security Guard License.
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Operators License.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
