Job Description
Akkodis is seeking an Application Production Support Engineer for a direct hire job with a client in San Francisco, CA (hybrid). You will be responsible for leading infrastructure and business projects while providing expert application support and troubleshooting.
Salary Range: $120,000 annually to $140,000 annually
Application Production Support Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating infrastructure and business projects from an IT perspective
- Providing support for the efficient resolution of IT infrastructure incidents and service requests
- Documentation for infrastructure and application run books
- Responding to application support escalations, troubleshooting technical and data/configuration issues
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve end-user issues
- Coordinating performance analysis, recommendations, and improvements for infrastructure and applications
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or certifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in application support and deployments
- Proficiency with Azure hybrid cloud services
- Dynatrace monitoring tools
- Service ticket management systems experience (e.g., ServiceNow, ConnectWise) and production support processes.
- Financial industry experience
- Experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds, ScienceLogic, Argent, etc…)
- Microsoft .Net development experience preferred
- Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle experience
- PowerShell scripting experience (or another scripting language)
