Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Application Production Support Engineer for a direct hire job with a client in San Francisco, CA (hybrid). You will be responsible for leading infrastructure and business projects while providing expert application support and troubleshooting.

Salary Range: $120,000 annually to $140,000 annually

Application Production Support Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating infrastructure and business projects from an IT perspective
• Providing support for the efficient resolution of IT infrastructure incidents and service requests
• Documentation for infrastructure and application run books
• Responding to application support escalations, troubleshooting technical and data/configuration issues
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve end-user issues
• Coordinating performance analysis, recommendations, and improvements for infrastructure and applications

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or certifications
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in application support and deployments
• Proficiency with Azure hybrid cloud services
• Dynatrace monitoring tools
• Service ticket management systems experience (e.g., ServiceNow, ConnectWise) and production support processes.
• Financial industry experience
• Experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds, ScienceLogic, Argent, etc…)
• Microsoft .Net development experience preferred
• Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle experience
• PowerShell scripting experience (or another scripting language)
