Job Description

Come join the City of Rochester's Data Team as our Analytics Enablement Leader! In this role, you will work on Data Cataloguing and Data Modeling, and building data communities throughout the City of Rochester. This position will design intuitive data models in analytics tools, craft targeted training programs to upskill City staff, and foster mentorship opportunities to accelerate analytical capabilities. If you're passionate about building modeling and want to help develop that at the municipal level, this role is definitely for you!

CITY RESIDENCY REQUIRED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF HIRE.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications listed below:

A high school diploma or Equivalent PLUS:

1. A Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or related field PLUS five (5) years of full-time experience (or its part-time equivalent) in an applied analytical role;

OR

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or related field PLUS seven (7) years of full-time experience (or its part-time equivalent) in an applied analytical role;

OR

1. Eleven (11) years of full-time experience (or its part-time equivalent) in an applied analytical role.
