Job Overview
Ozaukee Press, one of the largest paid circulation weekly newspapers in Wisconsin, is seeking a director of advertising to join our management team at our headquarters in beautiful downtown Port Washington. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys making connections, fostering relationships and helping community businesses thrive.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop his or her own accounts.
- Oversee a staff of two advertising representatives and be ultimately responsible for all print and digital
advertising sales.
- Lead an effort to grow digital advertising opportunities.
Requirements
- Preferred candidates will have experience selling newspaper print and digital advertising. Candidates with
extensive sales experience outside of the newspaper industry will also be considered.
- This is a full-time, in-person position.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work with customers through in-person and telephone
meetings.
- Reliable transportation.
- Proven track record of leading a team and increasing revenue.
