Class A&B CDL Driver – Hazmat Division

Ace Environmental Holdings provides a full range of environmental services including 24-hour spill response, above and underground tank management, vacuum truck services, hazardous waste transportation and disposal, industrial cleanings, and soil and groundwater remediation. Services rendered in Baltimore, DC, and Mid-Atlantic Regions. We pride ourselves on our reputation and are looking for someone to join our team-oriented environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial and non-commercial vehicles, including tankers, roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, and/or box trucks.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT requirements.
- Follow all DOT regulations and ACE safety guidelines, including tracking hours and maintaining records.
- Provide customers with high quality and professional customer service.
- Perform tasks associated with environmental clean-up, emergency spill response, and site remediation, when necessary.
- Clean and decontaminate regulated materials from spills, trenches, drains, OWS and tanks on job sites, when necessary.
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
- When on call, participate in quick and immediate response. Secure coverage for shifts when necessary.
- Maintain ACE standards and reputation in the industry.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
- DOT tanker and/or hazmat endorsement required
- Must be able to perform lab packs, sort chemicals, properly placard the truck and fill out manifests.
- Preferred: Prior experience operating tankers, roll-off and/or vacuum trucks, box trucks
Compensation:
- $28-35/hour (depending on experience).
- Monthly bonus potential based on attendance, punctuality, and quality of work.
