A mission-driven company is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead financial operations, manage payroll, and oversee a small accounting team. This role is key to ensuring financial accuracy and supporting the company’s goal of improving outcomes worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for senior leadership.
- Manage payroll processing and resolve compensation-related inquiries.
- Lead a team of four, providing training, support, and performance management.
- Execute month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Leverage NetSuite and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA a plus.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong NetSuite or similar ERP experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
