Manager | Accounting Advisory | CPA

Location: Denver - Hybrid (Office/Remote/Client Site)

Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 + Bonus + overtime pay + incentive equity shares

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading advisory firm as a Manager – Accounting Advisory . Working for a NON-Audit, Non Conflicted advisory firm Working with a broad client base ranging from Fortune 500 companies to innovative start-ups, you’ll lead project teams and collaborate with clients and their auditors on complex accounting and financial matters.

In this role, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, making a real impact by delivering solutions to accounting challenges, supporting financial reporting needs, and managing transformational projects across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with senior client management to address complex accounting issues and propose solutions.
  • Lead operational due diligence for significant transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, and capital raises.
  • Review and oversee consultants’ deliverables for financial and regulatory reporting in line with SEC and regulatory requirements (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, and S-4 filings).
  • Research and document the impact of new accounting standards (e.g., ASC updates).
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of changes.
  • Mentor consultants, fostering a positive team environment and providing leadership and creative problem-solving.

What You’ll Need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA with significant accounting experience also considered).
  • 5+ years of public accounting and/or industry finance experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships and work collaboratively in teams.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead engagements.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality client service and achieving positive outcomes.
